About Kilkenny Tennis Club

Kilkenny Tennis Club is one of the largest and best Regional Tennis clubs in Ireland. It is a very active club with high grade facilities and always welcomes new members and visitors.

The club has eight Class 1 grade courts finished in the latest all weather carpet (Tiger Turf Advantage) and has Class 1 court lighting. It also has a dedicated mini practice court and practice wall.

It is important that members familiarize themselves with the various notice boards in the club as they are an important way of communicating with members. They display members’ contact details and information on competitions, social events, coaching etc. The lobby inside the front door contains the large notice board with senior members contact information. In the large second hall are the other noticeboards with information on competitions, American tournaments, social events, coaching etc. as well as the Junior club notice board and junior members list.

Another source of information on what is happening in our Club is on our Facebook page and our website.

The Club has 8 full size courts and a practice court/wall.

There is also a small gym (for Senior members only, strictly no under 18s) located on the left hand side of the hallway going towards the changing rooms.

The club bar is opened from 7.30pm Monday to Friday and has normal licensing closing hours.

There is also a Table tennis area and a Darts board. If you require table tennis bats/ balls or darts, ask the bar staff.

There are male and female changing rooms in the club located beside the toilets. The changing facilities include showers, hair dryers and saunas. To have the sauna turned on please ask barman (in order to have sauna hot, ask before going out on court).

The club facilities of the bar/kitchen and function room are available for hire for any private functions. Non-members are welcome to avail of hiring. Contact Rena 0863060449.
