Kilkenny tennis club has a reputation as one of the most welcoming clubs around.

The nights of our tennis finals in the various tournaments during the year, held in the club bar have been known to go on into the wee small hours with dancing and craic guaranteed.

In addition to music and dancing on finals nights, our interfirms BBQ night has a solid reputation for a great evening’s entertainment.

If you are looking for a party venue in Kilkenny for a christening, a significant birthday or some other event, the Club bar is available to hire for private functions both to members and non-members.  We also can provide the lounge during the day for meeting of small community groups. Outings to other tennis clubs or receiving a team from another club occur throughout  the year. Keep an eye on the club notice board.

The Kilkenny Tennis Club Ball is an annual event held in the autumn in a local hotel. It’s the club social event of the year and gives members a chance to let their hair down (literally!) and get to know each other away from the tennis court.
