Welcome to all new and existing junior members. Junior members represent almost half of our club membership and are very important to the club – they are our future!
The club offers a range of activities for junior members:
- The main activity is coaching. Group coaching and private coaching is available for all ages and all abilities. For more information see COACHING.
- During the summer holidays fun tournaments take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in July and August.
- Matchplay, organised competitive games for children, runs for 10 weeks starting in September and March each year. Children aged 8 to 16 can take part in supervised, scheduled matchplay on Saturday or Sunday after 12 noon depending on group.
- Junior competitions held at the club include the The Junior Open week in the middle of July (open to juniors from any club) and Junior Club Championships which take place at the end of August (for junior club members only).
- Other tournaments and social events take place during holiday breaks and at weekends.
Details of all these events will be on the Junior notice board and on our Facebook page.
