Welcome to all new junior members. The main activities for junior members occur during the summer holidays. Fun tournaments take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the Months of July and August. The junior open week is at the beginning of July and the club championship for juniors take place at the end of August.
There are a number of good coaches available to give lessons throughout the year. See the notice board for details.
Juniors have equal right access to courts up to six in the evening. After that seniors take priority on courts, except for court 1 and the practice court, which allows junior II players priority up to 8.30 pm and junior I players up to 7pm. Junior I players must be accompanied by an adult.
Up to six A-grade junior players are allowed to play in the Friday night American tournaments (see below).
Other tournaments and events take place at during holiday breaks and weekends. Details of these will be on the notice board and included in the Tennis notes in the local papers. |
